This researchculminated with the publishing of his book\, "Chesty: The Story of Lieutenant General Lewis B. Puller\, USMC." (New York: Random House\, 2001). \n\n\n\nColonel Hoffman has also published "Once a Legend: 'Red Mike' Edson of the Marine Raiders" and edited "USMC: A Compete History." Colonel Hoffman holds a JD from Duke University\, a MA from Ohio State University and a BA from Miami University.\n\n\n\nColonel Hoffman will be available for book signings after his presentation.
