SUMMARY:Introduction to Nature Photography in the Lowcountry
DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Robert Kampwirth This is a two-part class\, taking place on successive Saturdays. The first class on May 30th (1-3 pm) will be a 2 hour presentation about the joys and challenges of wildlife(nature) photography in the Low Country. It will include basic principles and techniques\, equipment needed and the importance of being opportunistic when taking photos. Examples of suggested equipment include using digital cameras mounted on small scopes (digiscoping) and compact super zoom camera\, however bringing your own camera to this session is optional. On June 6th (time to be determined)\, weather permitting\, the instructor will lead a field trip to the Estuary in Port Royal. Once there\, the class will split up and\, using their own equipment\, will attempt to capture the flora and fauna they encounter. Mr. Kampwirth will give specific guidance throughout the trip\, based on various situations the students encounter. The cost is $100 per class with a limited number of scholarship available.
