DESCRIPTION:The 15 mile course will highlight historical locations across the base from prehistory to the modern Marine presence.  At some site docents will be present to discuss the areas' history.  \nRest stops will be available along the route\nCost: Free and open to the public\nThose who join the Parris Island Historical and Museum Society during the event will receive a free Iron Mike Bike Tour t-shirt and a 20% discount on all purchases at the museum's gift shop\nAll riders must wear helmets and follow standard road rules\nMinors must be accompanied by an adult\nTell them at the gate you are here to do Iron Mike Bike Ride\nDrives must present valid driver's license\, car registration and proof of insurance to get on base
