It is located in the residential Old Point area at King & Pinckney Streets.  This park has remained open since 1711 and soldiers camped there during the Civil War.  It has also been used in the filming of several movies including "The Big Chill".\nThere will be an auction for an original 12 X 9 framed oil painting titled "Approaching The Green" by artist Pat Whitehead.  Winner need not be present.\nCost for Lecture: $150\nDonation Cost for Auction: $10
