DESCRIPTION:Painting With A Twist in Pooler and Savannah will kick off Nurse Appreciation Week with a special painting party to honor the dedication and outstanding contributions nurses make to healthcare from 7-9 p.m. May 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for hard-working nurses to relax\, to sip a glass of BYOB wine (or two) and to share some laughs with new friends. National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6\, also known as National Nurses Day\, through May 12\, the birthday of Florence Nightingale\, the founder of modern nursing. The Painting With a Twist in Savannah is located at 513 East Oglethorpe Ave. The Pooler studio is located at 107 Grand Central Blvd.\, Suite 205\, off Pooler Parkway next to Geovista Bank behind Goodwill. Evening classes typically include a happy hour and fun games. Attendees over 21 are encouraged to bring their own libations. No one under 18 is permitted to take this class. The cost is $35 per seat. Reservations are available online for both studios. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early. Those arriving more than 20 minutes late will be not be allowed to paint. Painting classes are subject to change and cancellation for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to class time and refunds will be processed.
