DESCRIPTION:Power Drawing: Light\, Line\, and Form with John Michael Hoffman \n\n\n\nThe course will emphasize inspiration\, motivation\, and individuality as well as showcase dynamic perspectives for drawing\, painting\, and design. A conjunction of circumstances and events may be credited with shaping Hoffman's efforts to repatriate his artistic identity\, not the least of which were his inherent aesthetic restlessness\, design background and openness to experimentation. Vigor\, vitality\, texture describe the amalgamations that led to Hoffman's expression of our sovereign\, human trials. Hoffman graduated from St. Xavier High School and then earned his undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University in Industrial Design. Following undergrad\, Hoffman lived and studied Design and Fine Arts in Chicago at The School of the Art Institute\, The Irvine Museum\, The Dallas Art Academy and Southern Methodist University\, Kalamazoo Institute of Arts and College For Creative Studies in Michigan.
