DESCRIPTION:Take part in the new Charity Shrimp Race being held in conjunction with the annual Shrimp Festival.   The first "10" shrimp to cross the finish line will win cash prizes as well as having an opportunity to win $100\,000 !  Proceeds to benefit Beaufort children's charities\, Polio research and a water project.  You need not be present to win.  Rules and registration available on line.  Deadline to purchase shrimp is 5:00pm Oct 2.  If all shrimp are not sold they will be for sale \ndowntown before the race until 10:00am.  Cost: $10 per Shrimp.
