DESCRIPTION:Sea Island Rotary is partnering up with the annual Beaufort Shrimp Festival for the 11th annual Shrimp Race\, which is being held in Henry Chambers Water Front Park on October 5\, 2019. We drop 5\,000 rubber shrimp in the Beaufort river by the sea wall. The first 10 rubber shrimp to cross the finish line will share $5000.00 in cash prizes. The first 100 rubber shrimp have a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE of a new boat or car!\n\n\n\nThe proceeds of the Shrimp Race will help fund the Sea Island Rotary Smile Mobile\, which is a dental outreach program serving those 200% below the poverty level in the low country\, and local charities including Uniform Projects\, High School Scholarship Fund\, CAPA\, Hopeful Horizons\, USCB Scholarship Fund\, etc.
