DESCRIPTION:Members of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce are already preparing for a successful 2017 legislative session to continue the mission to improve South Carolina's business climate and global competitiveness. This important policy-changing work begins at home\, at the grassroots level.\n\n\n\nThe Grassroots Meeting is one of the first steps in creating the Competitiveness Agenda\, the business community's annual list of legislative priorities compiled by the SC Chamber. It will begin with a legislative review from the South Carolina Chamber's Public Policy staff before moving into an open discussion of legislative issues that you believe must be addressed.\n\n\n\nParticipants bring compelling issues to the meetings\, which helps the Chamber create its Competitiveness Agenda. Once issues are defined and strategies are developed\, the Chamber works with legislative officials to create an environment that will improve the business climate in South Carolina.
