DESCRIPTION:The Military Affairs Committee of the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce supports activities that protect and enhance the military installations in Beaufort County\, and improve the quality of life of military families in the region.\n\n \n\nWith the presence of Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot\, Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort and Naval Hospital Beaufort there is a significant military footprint in our economy and environment to the tune of $1.498 Billion.\n\nParris Island has been making Marines for 100 years and Beaufort is the home of the only Marine Corps JSF training center. There are over 12\,000 local military-related jobs totaling more than $700 million in local labor income.\n\n \n\nAnnually\, the Beaufort Chamber is proud to bring this opportunity to our membership\, the business community\, citizens and military community of the Beaufort region. This quarter we will hear from Col Peter Buck\, USMC\, Commanding Officer\, MCAS Beaufort as well as receive updates from Parris Island Recruit Depot and Naval Hospital Beaufort. The Military Family of the Quarter will be recognized. The State of the Bases will begin with a full breakfast buffet. \n\n\n\nPresented by
