There I also studied dance with Alwin Nicholias\, acting at HB Studios\, and writing at The New School\, before returning to my roots in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. In 2003\, I created Lowcountry Women Writers to stimulate my own 'writing habits' as well as the habits of others. I write short stories\, essays\, and articles\, and have just completed my first novel\, What We Set In Motion. When I'm not writing\, I teach writing workshops through the Arts Council and the Technical College of the Lowcountry.
