DESCRIPTION:The University of South Carolina Center for the Arts proudly announces the return of PJ and Play with Judy Blume's classic story of "Otherwise know as Shelia the Great " on Monday\, October 8\, at 6:30 PM.\n\nBeing a 10 year old kid is kind of a pain\, having an older sister is really a pain\, being afraid of everything is well\, just plain painful. Shelia Tubman\, sometimes know as Shelia the Great come of age in this lively musical about discovery the person within. Award winning and popular author Judy Blume has created an unlikely but extremely likeable heroine in Shelia Tubman. Children and adults will fall in love with Shelia and her friends as she learns that her trials are\, unfortunately essential to growing up.\n\nP. J. and Play is a very popular theatre series for children three to twelve years of age. Please bring your child or children in pajamas\, all ready for bed. We hope this event will serve as their bedtime story--only with live characters and lots of entertainment. All participants will receive a cookie and a juice.
