\n\n USCB Center for the Arts in Beaufort will present the Beaufort Theatre production of &ldquo\;Noises Off&rdquo\; on April 6 and 7\, and again on April 12\, 13 and 14.

\n\n &ldquo\;Noises Off&rdquo\; is a classic British farce written by Michael Frayn and opened in London in 1982. \;Since then it has been entertaining audiences all over the world and is\, as reviewed in the New York Times\, &ldquo\;A spectacularly funny\, peerless backstage farce. \; This dizzy\, well-known romp is a festival of delirium.&rdquo\;

\n\n Gail Westerfield directs the manic menagerie of itinerant actors rehearsing a dismal flop of a play called &ldquo\;Nothing&rsquo\;s On.&rdquo\; \; There is a love triangle which leads to deteriorating personal relationships among the cast and causes offstage chaos and onstage bedlam. \; The title of the play is taken from theatrical stage direction which means &ldquo\;sounds that originate offstage.&rdquo\;

\n\n Performances begin at USCB Center for the Arts Theatre at 801 Carteret Street on Saturday and Sunday\, April 6 and 7\, and again the following weekend on Friday\, Saturday and Sunday\, April 12\, 13 and 14.
