75 Years Later: Creating Wartime Family Reunions with DNA
In honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, Genealogist Bonnie Wade-Mucia speaks about the works she does to find family members of KIA/MIA soldiers from WWII.
Bonnie Wade-Mucia is a Forensic Genealogist and owner of Keeper of the Past Genealogy. She is a graduate of Boston University’s Genealogical Certificate program and is an alumnus of the ProGen Study Group. She is a member of the Counsel for the Advancement of Forensic Genealogy. Bonnie has done genealogy research for the show “Finding Your Roots” with Dr. Henry Louis Gate. She is a currently a genealogy researcher for the Army's Past Conflicts Repatriations Branch (PCRB) and finds living family members of KIA/MIA Soldiers from WWII and other conflicts. She a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Genealogical Speakers Guild as well as a number of other genealogical organizations. She is also a member of the Emily Geiger Chapter of the DAR and the SC State Commemorative Event Chair. Bonnie resides in Bluffton, SC with her husband, Joseph.
