Tax Implications of the SBA Programs
The small business relief programs created by the CARES Act in response to COVID-19 have been a lifeline for some businesses. They also raise a lot of business tax questions.
Will the forgiven portion of PPP loans be treated as income? Are expenses paid with loan funds deductible? Do loan funds offset deduction for net operating loss?
