Bluffton Town Manager Marc Orlando will discuss the current opportunities and challenges facing Bluffton as it has emerged from being a one-square mile town just two decades ago to the fifth-largest town in the state in land mass. Orlando will also detail how the Old Town Master Plan, coupled with public and private investments, created a business and tourism resurgence in Bluffton’s Historic District. In addition, Orlando will give an overview of the major projects on the horizon which include a $35 million mixed-use development at Buckwalter Place Commerce Park and how the Town’s Don Ryan Center for Innovation is playing a key role in attracting start-up companies to the region.
