19th Annual Beaufort Shrimp Festival October 4 - 5
The Beaufort Shrimp Festival returns to Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park this October and features local food, live music and contests. The free festival kicks off at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 4, with live music, featuring Motown, blues and rock songs. On Friday, October 5, attendees can enjoy the Arts & Crafts Market, a 5k Run/Walk and children's Popcorn Shrimp Run, and a variety of contests, as well as sample local fresh seafood. Area restaurants will also compete for various "Best Of" titles.
