The digital age has changed the way that consumers and business owners research and buy products and services. Today, most of the buyer’s journey takes place online. Both businesses and consumers deeply research the solutions they need online, often without ever contacting sales. In the current digital marketplace, when a consumer or business does reach out to a salesperson, they’re already informed and close to the point of making a purchase.

About the speaker

Oliver Spencer is the Founder of Conthentic Group, a Beaufort-based digital marketing agency that helps local businesses address the challenges they face online and in the marketplace.
A graduate of Boston University Oliver spent several years in New York City in the executive training program at Saks Fifth Avenue. He ultimately found his way to Raleigh, where he worked in technology marketing for years before founding the Department of Marketing an interactive, award-winning marketing firm.
Last year, Oliver relocated his family to the Low Country and founded ConcenthicGroup, which already is working with a number of clients to ensure that the clients’ digital marketing assets are in the best possible position to maximize the clients’ ROI.
