Name: Buzzy Butterfly Garden Workshop
Date: April 27, 2019
Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT
Event Description:

What is butterfly milkweed and why it is so important to monarch butterflies? Why are bees so important to all of us? Leslie Natoli, retired educator, will introduce these important pollinators, why they are endangered, and facilitate hands-on activities. Each child will conclude the experience by taking home a decorated flower pot, a seedling ready to plant, and hopefully, an enthusiasm for gardening! Parents: Children’s “informal wear” is strongly encouraged and we welcome your participation as well.
