Description
Although he designed over 1000 projects during his long and prolific career, Auldbrass, in Yemassee, South Carolina is the only plantation among them. It is also one of his largest and complex projects he ever undertook. He worked on and off of it for over twenty years, from 1938 until his death in 1959. Open for the tour are the Main House, Playroom, Caretaker's House, Pool, Stables and one of the Guest Cabins. Please look around the grounds and in the window's of all 20 of the buildings on site. Tickets will be available on line August 1 for $70. All other tickets $75. Picnic lunch on the grounds of the Twickenham Plantation from 12:00 noon - 2:00pm will be $15.
