OLLI presents, "The Contributions of Gullah Music". Retired educator, Dan Huff, examines the history of African-American music in the U.S. and it's importance as the only true native American music. The lecture begins with the Griots singers in Africa via mixed media. Early slave songs and church hymns will be discussed with their secret meanings. Cost: $10.
