Smithsonian 's 'Save Our Treasures'

Attend workshops on topics such as: Textile Preservation and Paper/Photography Preservation. Featured items will be Hometown Treasures Object Review - bring up to 3 items for a 20 minute one-on-one consultation with experts. Those wishing to have items reviewed must make reservations on line at treasures@si.edu or by phone. Gospel music, Gullah storytelling, basket making demonstration and African drumming. There will also be ceramics, uniforms, cloth dolls, metalworks, flags, hats, clothing, lace, quilts, needlework and table lines, family bibles, historic pictures and documents.
