SHIPPING AND RECEIVING COORDINATOR

Dust Solutions, Inc. (DSI) engineers and manufactures environmental air quality control systems for large industrial clients. Industries served include but are not limited to mining, power generation, marine and rail terminals, wind & solar, and pulp and paper. We help clients throughout the U.S. and globally address challenging pollution control and health and safety issues. We are seeking a full-time associate that will be responsible for ensuring that receiving & shipping documentation functions are completed accurately and on time in accordance with all purchasing and materials management guidelines. This is a diversified position requiring excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility. Key Job Responsibilities: Shipping & Receiving · Ensures the accuracy of shipping / receiving documents and gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping/receiving activities. · Assures that shipping / receiving counts match picking / purchase order documents and assists in resolving discrepancies. · Will use only system resources to create labels and documentation for shipping of small packages. · Picks orders to be shipped as needed, ensures proper labels and paperwork have been applied to outgoing shipments. Job Order Picking / Pulling · Utilize inventory management system and reports to ascertain appropriate parts to be picked from bins, shelves or locations. · Assist with picking customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct part number is packaged and shipped. · Will assist in picking of project parts and issuing to shop floor and ensuring part accuracy. Inventory Coordination · Assist with cycle counting and provide attention to detail as it pertains to inventory counts / levels. · Interface with material and shipping vendors as required. · Other duties as required and assigned. Qualifications: · General knowledge of a variety of basic business operations – typing, reading, writing reports, general math. · Computer proficiency with good data entry skills. · Quick learner and comfortable with learning new technology. · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions accurately and efficiently. · Excellent organizational and communication skills. · Must enjoy working in a team environment and show a willingness to work will all teams as needed on other project / duties. · Position does require lifting and moving of parts and equipment. Preferred: · Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment or distribution center a plus. · Forklift experience is a plus.
