Job Summary
We're looking for a creative, organized, and tech-savvy Digital Marketing Coordinator to lead the charge on our digital presence. This role focuses on website management, email marketing, social media, and promotions for vacation rentals and resort offerings. You'll play a key part in attracting and engaging guests and members by creating content and campaigns that drive clicks, bookings, and brand love.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management
• Regularly update Resort and Club websites with engaging and timely content
• Maintain the calendar of events, Weekly Highlights, and vacation rental listings
• Monitor and analyze website performance and suggest improvements
Email Marketing
• Build and maintain an email marketing plan with the Director of Marketing
• Create and send e-newsletters and promotional campaigns targeting resort guests, rental customers, and members
• Track metrics like open rates, CTR, and bookings generated
Social Media
• Manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) with content that’s on-brand, timely, and fun.
• Suggest and implement strategies to grow our followers and engagement
• Respond to messages/comments and monitor relevant conversations
Vacation Rental Promotions
• Collaborate with rental teams to promote featured properties, special packages, and last-minute deals.
• Create marketing materials (digital and print) to drive bookings and highlight seasonal offerings.
Design & Content
• Design compelling visuals for social media, email, web, and print using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
• Interpret ideas into high-quality graphics and campaigns that align with the resort’s branding.
• Write or edit marketing copy for emails, ads, blogs, and brochures
Photography & On-Site Support
• Photograph events, rentals, and resort scenes (some evenings/weekends required)
• Assist with in-person marketing activities and content creation
Analytics & Reputation
• Monitor social and website analytics to optimize digital efforts
• Track online reviews and coordinate with management on responses
Qualifications
• Experience in digital marketing and content creation
• Skills in graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, Revinate, or similar systems)
• Understanding of website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
• Skilled writer and editor with a good eye for visual content
• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite)
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, beach-resort environment
• Creative thinker and detail-oriented planner
• Willingness to work occasional nights/weekends for events
• Photography and basic video skills are a plus
