DESCRIPTION:Business License Tax Training   July 21\n\nThe South Carolina General Assembly passed the Business License Tax Standardization Act in 2020.  The law standardizes the way business license taxes are calculated\, assessed and collected. Municipalities are required to implement the law by January 1\, 2022.\n\n \n\nIn anticipation of the new requirements\, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce is hosting a training session for businesses offered by the Municipal Association of South Carolina on July 21st at 9 am.  Presenters from the Municipal Association will provide training on the new Business License Tax Portal and an overview of the new Business License Standardization Act.
