Amble on over to the Lawton Stables for a Memorial Day Celebration benefiting The Sandbox!\n\n\n\nMonday\, May 27th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Lawton Stables in Sea Pines Plantation\n\n\n\nAdmission is $5 per person\; tickets for concessions and activities are $1 each(some activities are free). Sandbox Annual Members receive $5 in concession tickets for each paid admission\n\n\n\nActivities scheduled include:\n\nArts and Crafts projects\n\nInflatable water slides to cool off in \n\nbounce houses and a mini train ride!\n\nPony rides\n\nFacepainting\n\nFamily games\n\n"Island Explorer" Corner: Excavation Station\, I3 (Imagine.Invent.Inspire.) Makerspace\, Mad Scientist\, Spin the Wheel (Everyone's a winner!) and Friends from The Coastal Discovery Museum\, Port Royal Sound Foundation\, and The Outside Foundation!\n\n\n\nThe Cowpoke Caper Parade is back again at High Noon! Come dressed as your favorite cowpoke and bring your cowpoke name - creativity is key! Free bandanas to the first 50 entries!\n\n\n\nAnd new this year\, a visit from "Captain Jack Sparrow" and two children's performances by Jevon Daly!\n\n\n\nThere will be hot dogs and burgers fresh off the grill\, as well as refreshments including sno cones and popcorn\, all available for purchase.\n\n\n\nPark and Ride: Guests parking is at the Trolley Stop inside the Greenwood Dr. Sea Pines Gate. Ride the free trolley to Lawton Stables. (There is NO Event parking at Lawton Stables) Complimentary gate fee when you tell the security guard you at going to the event!\n\n\n\nThe Sandbox Children's Museum on Pope Avenue will be closed on Memorial Day.
