New York Times bestselling author Claire Cook is best known for the movie version of her second novel, Must Love Dogs starring Diane Lane and John Cusack. Wednesday, November 7, she will be the featured author at USCB Lunch With Author Series at Dataw Island’s Carolina Room, Beaufort. All-inclusive price is $42. Claire Cook wrote her first novel in her minivan outside her daughter's swim practice when she was 45. At 50, she walked the red carpet at the Hollywood adaptation of her second novel, Must Love Dogs. She is now the bestselling and award-winning author of nine novels, including Wallflower in Bloom, which is the featured novel at the November 7th luncheon. Her favorite saying is “Midlife rocks!”
