In the spirit of the ancients, they embark upon a challenge most grand—to amass a treasure trove for the good of THP’s cause, the mighty construction of Esther’s House.
From the awakening of spring to the waning days of summer’s heat, these champions shall vie in a race of generosity. Their mettle tested not by sword and shield, but by the weight of gold and silver they can muster.
The victor, oh the victor! Songs shall be sung of their glory, their name etched in the stones of time, revered through the ages. They shall bask in the splendor of triumph, their legend unfurling like the sails of a longship bound for Valhalla.
But lo, the vanquished, he who gathers the least, shall face a fate most humbling. Before the eyes of kin and comrade, his beard—a warrior’s pride—shall fall to the ground, a sacrifice to honor and humility.
So raise your horns, for the battle of benevolence begins! Witness the battle take place on Saturday August 17^th, 2024 at the Fillin’ Station in Beaufort, from 5pm-8pm.
