POSITION SUMMARY This role will be responsible for transporting, operating, and maintaining a 24-foot mobile shower trailer which provides essential hygiene services to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. A reliable, detail-oriented individual who’s passionate about making a positive impact in the community is essential to this role.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Transportation: Safely and efficiently drive a large pickup truck towing a 24-foot shower trailer to and from designated sites following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Setup: Configure the shower trailer at event locations, ensuring proper connections to water and power sources for seamless operation.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on the trailer, including emptying grey and black water tanks, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall condition to ensure reliability.
• Cleaning: Maintain a sanitary and welcoming environment by thoroughly cleaning the interior and exterior of the trailer after each event. Stock and replenish supplies.
• Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to event organizers and attendees, proactively addressing questions and concerns to enhance the overall experience.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating large vehicles such as trailers or RVs.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Flexible Schedule Requirements and Pay:
This position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate varying schedules (mornings, afternoons, and evenings) and locations. For the first couple months, hours will be approximately 20 hours per week, then will be reduced to approximately 10 hours per week. This position pays $25 per hour.
