RLB Distillery takes home prestigious award

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Rotten Little Bastard Distillery (RLB Distillery) Takes Home Prestigious Gold Award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Beaufort, SC – 8 May 2025 – Rotten Little Bastard (RLB) Distillery, a local producer of South Carolina certified Award-Winning spirits, is thrilled to announce that its Spanish Moss Gin has been awarded a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, often referred to as the Oscars of the spirit industry. The award recognizes Spanish Moss Gin's exceptional taste, quality, and innovative approach to our American style gin.

RLB’ s Spanish Moss Gin was inspired by our customers. People loved our Vodka and asked when we would make a Gin. However, no one at RLB liked Gin. With the help of his niece, Adriann, Brian came up with this light, citrusy gin that is enjoyed by Gin drinkers and non-Gin drinkers alike.

Rotten Little Bastard Distillery is located at 2139 Boundary Street, Unit 102, Beaufort, SC 29902, next to Urban Brew in the Beaufort Town Center. All our spirits are made 100% at our distillery, using local grains for our vodka and whiskeys, and organic molasses for our rum. Tasting Tours are available, and our spirits can be purchased in South Carolina liquor stores, at RLB, and through our website.
